It is a nice case, but the Navigon is so small it fits nicey into a pocket, but with this monster case, it would have to go in a cargo pant pocket. Sure it keeps it safe and does what it says.But trust me and buy the leather tight fitting case instead.
The item I purchance was for a friend.I had one and I truly enjoyed mineSo I recommended that he get one it's easy to use and it stays in the glove box. The hard shell case is the key to product.
This case provides perfect protection for my Magellan when it's tossed into the center console.
One correction, it's not the 3.5" but the 4.3" that I purchased. It protects well my navigon. It fits like a glove. I use it with my Navigon 7100. Good price.
The shape of the case is the same as the shape of the Navigon gps although you could fit other types of gps in it since it has a little bit of extra room inside. This is a hard shell case so it will definitely protect the gps more than the soft padded cases.
The zipper is on the outside part so it will not scratch the gps. The case is great.
It has bands on both sides (one for each, left and right) so that the gps will not fall off if you open it. It has a little bit of room inside for the gps to move but it's just a little bit.
The look is very nice in and out. The picture is exactly how it looks like.
Overall, it is great.
